Its pretty much Jump Scare: The Movie. Mostly relying on jump scares works for horror video games, but not for horror movies, IMHO. The story was pretty generic and weak. Being based on real-life con artists, scammers, a pedophile, and sexual predator, is also not a good look. Anyways, I disagree with you.
